Montana Representative Michael More (R-outer Bozeman area) makes known his views about women when he warns us on his web site that:
within the Democratic Party there is a very vocal subgroup known as the Democratic Woman’s Caucus which works assiduously to further an agenda pertaining to the so-called notion of “woman’s rights”. [emphasis mine]
Much to my surprise, the Montana Association of Catholics in Commerce, of which More is a member, tells us that this gem of a 46-year-old adult male is still single! In addition to More’s views on “the so-called notion of “women’s rights,” More is a fan of returning to the “gold standard” and secession from the United States. Koopman -> More. The More things change …
Confession time. I’m a little angry at American women, and Montana women in particular. Not marrying this asshat is not enough. Women make up 51% of the population of the US, and yet so very many expect that men will reflect their needs and desires. I’m not dissing you, Cowgirl; not at all. I’ve expressed my frustrations to my beloved and my Sis in law as well. Women have power, and they need to stand and roar. Women’s rights is not a “so-called notion”. It’s a GD fact. I can’t be expected to support that in the voting booth, and yet I am. That’s frustrating.
Good point.WTF Montana women! We need to take action to get these fools out of office.we can’t keep sitting around and hope the democratic party will let us bring appetizers to its next event while all the men get asked to MC and or speak. That’s our fault for taking it.
I really don’t understand. Can someone explain to me what it is about Bozeman that elects the likes of Koopman, the Balyeats and this guy? The water maybe?
It isn’t Bozeman, per se. As Mike says, Bozeman elects good legislators (though Mike obviously disagrees with the good part.) It’s the outlying areas of the county that elect the loons. That’s why Koopman had to run in HD 70 as opposed to the district he actually lives in (HD 66)
Thanks for the clarification. I know several nice folks in Bozeman and can’t see them voting for any of these crazies.
Oh my – and Bozeman sends the like of JP to the Legislature – surely it must be the water – or the Koolaid. Heck, Bozeman even elected Brady Wiseman and Mike Phillips. YeeHaw!! Ride ‘em CowGirl. And Franke W., now there’s a real winner!! And you complain about someone that supports States Rights and the Constitution.
Yes, Mike, Franke is a winner. Any bets on how badly she crushes your boy little Nicky Landeros?
Actually Mike, I’m complaining that an elected legislator bashes women’s rights, backs bills that would ruin the economy (have you been reading about Greece?? they had a fixed currency and look what happened), and is fine with proceeding down the path to secession from the U.S.
[...] folks, even Rep. Tom McGillvray (R-Outer Space), Wendy “Wackadoodle” Warburton and Michael More did not attain that [...]
