Montana TEA Party Republican James Knox is in the news again, this time for claiming that he overheard Billings Firefighters plotting to sabotage their own vehicles. He heard the conversation, he says, in a Billings restaurant and he immediately contacted the fire chief to report the dangerous plot.
Knox claims that they were plotting to cut the break lines on their new vehicles, and put sugar in the gas tanks. It seems unbelievable that the active firefighters would sabotage vehicles they themselves would be relying on when performing their job duties, thus threatening their own safety, unless a suicide pact conspiracy was in the works.
After all, Knox says he isn’t making it up in the Billings Gazette comments to the report, asking:
Why would any of us at our table make such a claim?
Could it be because of Knox’s longstanding history of attacking firefighters after they declined to endorse Knox in his failed campaign for city council?
James Knox was bashing Billings firefighters since before it was cool. Apparently not content with posting nonsense in the Billings Gazette online comments — so passé— the Knox created CitizensTruth.com (which appears to be defunct) a website aimed at criticizing the actions of Billings firefighters, linked to him here.

He’s been talking to Scott Walker

One has to hope that someday poetic justice will be served and he will DIAF.
You guys have to go read the Billings Gazette comments-Knox is posting all over the place. Probably as multiple people, as he is known to do and has beem caught several times doing it. I believe this blog has reported on this before. r
Even the Right wing doesn’t like him any more

I’m pretty sure Coobs still likes Knox. I HOPE I’m not the only right-winger who can’t stand him, but if his appearance at Pachyderm over the transmittal break is any indication (standing room only, more people than I’d ever seen there)…… He intends to run for PSC in 2012, something he is absolutely not qualified for.
The talk that James Knox and the other legislators gave at Pachyderm was good info I think.
I haven’t heard about any PSC candidates yet for 2012, although I’m sure there’ll be some since Brad’s term-limited out.
montanafesto: Ronald Reagans 11th Commandment was to never speak ill of a fellow Republican, so yes, I like James Knox, as well as all the GOP legislators serving us in Helena today.
Knox looks like a stereotypical teabagger…
I’m so glad Knox lives in that Fireproof GLass House…… But he’s the one who waited to have a Heart attck untill he had insurance
LOL, LOL, LOL ,LOL, LMAO, my God Jimmy Knoxs as nutty as a Christmas fruit cake. WOW has he been visited by the aliens yet from Mars? Or has he had conversations with Richard Nixon? The next thing that will happen is you will see Jimmy buck naked covered in thousand island salad dressing running down Montana Ave in Billings claiming the world is going to end and that he is the Son of Jesus. I’d bet money on that one. This guy needs to spend some time with Uncle Charlie Sheen in the rubber room.
bet his fire insurance rates go up!

This guy is a fruit cake from the word go. How he ever got elected is beyond any understanding. He thinks it’s ok to pay his employees whenever the H..L he feels like then takes them to task when they don’t blindly follow him. He hasn’t got the brains the good Lord gave a Jacka.. and yet he comes out smelling like a rose because he is an exceptional laier!!! Don’t let him do anything in public life again or we will all regret it!!!!!
